It'll be 10 years for me on Halloween. Still love the Rocket.

Road trip next week - gonna finish up Route 66. On the road to Chicago!

I still remember delivery day....March 26, 2010.
I repeat this memory often....September 2010, I drove Route 66 from St Louis, Missouri to L.A. People would roll up and stop to look at the new Camaro. They took pictures, they slowed traffic to stare. I felt like a celebrity.

Like you, I still get compliments virtually every time I drive my Summit White 2010 2SS RS with IOM rally stripes (sound and look familiar?). Here’s to you enjoying the next 10 years as much as the past 10.

Thanks. I plan on keeping it as it's been trouble free after only 59,000 miles.

Wow... I was not sure how many of us still existed. I still have mine. I took delivery October 2, 2009. I was very active on here back in the day and still drop in every once in a while to see what's up. I still love the car and she still looks like the day I brought her home. Mine turned out to become a garage queen. I just broke 17k this year. I really don't get that much use out of it because of 3 kids and many other interests that keep me busy. I've contemplated selling it several times, but just can't let it go.

Awesome! I've only had mine for 2 years but a friend of mine ordered his back in early 2009 and still has it. I remember riding with him when he first got the car, people would regularly makes circles around the car when we parked like it was a Lamborghini or something, it is something I'll never forget and it is part of the reason a 5th gen ss was my dream car, and when I finally graduated college and got a good job, guess what's the first thing I got? And now I just stared modding it for the extra horses and sound and i love it more than ever.

Congrats on getting your dream car. I know exactly what you are talking about. When I got mine in late 2009 you would have thought I was driving an exotic car. People would stop and gawk... take pictures. It was crazy. I still think it is a fantastic looking car today.

I took delivery on 11/24/09.

I had them just take it off the truck and park it with no dealer prep so it was fun sort of unwrapping it myself. A good day for sure.

Where was that picture taken if you don’t mind me asking. I have a hunch but want to see if I’m right.

Actually near my prior house in Avon Ct before I moved to South West Fl over
a year ago. It's a park and that's a walking bridge in the background that
goes over a waterfall. It's one of my favorite Camaro photos as to me it's as
much about the surroundings as it is the car.

Sorry I was referring to the picture you posted in the first post of this thread. Your car driving on a highway. That picture in your signature is really nice as well.
