2012 Camaro 2SS Hot Lap Video - Baltimore Grand Prix
I was fortunate to have been invited to participate in a Hot Lap this past Sunday morning at the Baltimore Grand Prix. Chevrolet had four 2012 Camaro 2SS (Automatic Trans) vehicles for race parade cars and utilized them for Hot Laps as well!
During the Hot Laps, each Camaro had three passengers plus the driver ... so fully loaded! On the straightaway, the car reached nearly 120mph, so this was no walk in the park ... these cars were driven hard by the Indy Lite Series professional drivers assigned to drive each Camaro during the Hot Laps. I was able to grab the front passenger seat and take video from my phone of the entire lap. The driver was very informative, explaining each area of the track. I was very impressed with the performance of the Camaro SS when driven hard on the track and can only imagine what the 1LE and ZL1 could have done! Enjoy the video ... |

Very nice! You should penalize your driver for missing the chicane on the straightaway before the railroad tracks!!!
