DT40 – great blend for FI builds. I used Driven’s LS30 for my L99 before I went forged.

No complaints so far!

Good to know. I’ll stick with the DT40 for regular changes then

May I ask why DT40 over LS30? Thanks. Your car is going to be a beast!

I did see this, on GPI's site. I will probably be going with the LS30, I am about due.

Nevermind. I just read DT is for supercharged. On their website it says for exotics.

There is talk of an LSX bare short block . Other then that. Just waiting on the remaining parts. AFCO called and said that after my 2 month wait that the manufacturing process didn’t go as planned and a mounting bracket was placed incorrectly... Wasn’t to happy.

What are your current mods? Both are great oils just different to tailor certain applications.

Still not 100% forsure. We’ll see how this week pans out. But I wouldn’t mind having the extra insurance.

I realized I never posted pictures of the crank. Opened it up again this morning and my lord is that boy heavy and awkward to maneuver in its oil bag. Didn’t get a full picture of it out of the bag but here are some teasers for you guys..

What compression ratio are you aiming for?

Just out of curiosity what did your car make with the BTR stage 3 And then how much did you pick up when you switched to the BTR stage 4 and the 102mm?

A Dragonslayer in its infancy, still in the package, ready to do major damage once unleashed! I am hoping for 9s with this build!

It will be 10:25.1. The car made in the low 700’s on the stage 3 PD BTR cam/old setup. I have not switched to the stage 4 yet as that will be going in with the new engine build. Additionally I will be running a 103 Nick Williams not a 102mm.

What is your build? Heartbeat? Twin screw?
