There isnt that much different between the '10 and the '11 thats going to add 400+ #s to it and

Why are we feeding the troll?

BTW - the new 5.0 cannot be bored. It is at it's max size from the factory. There will be no significant bolt on mods that will increase N/A power for some time. Long tube headers with a tune will be the best it will get. Forced induction will be the only way with the new motor to put high HP out.

Where the Camaro blows the doors off of the 2011 Mustang is mods. Add intake and long tubes and that is worth 40+WHP. Add cam with ported heads and that is another 100+WHP.

Can you do that with the new 5.0? Did not think so. This is coming from someone who owns a 2010 Mustang GT and a 2010 Camaro SS. I am as opposite of "fan boy" as they come.

Doubtful

Well considering Terminators will easily run 12.80 or faster bone stock if you know how to drive, and a 2011 w/3.73s will be faster than that- it aint gonna be much fun for a low 13 second SS

Awww..but we have bone stock SSs doing mid 12s..check the fast list. 12.58 I believe is the quickest for a bone stock, down to the oil and air filter, SS.

So..closer to a driver's race then one might think.

what you guys think about the new GT500
all aluminum 5.4L 4v DOHC S/C V8 pushing out
550hp and 510lbs. of torque
3800lbs est. weight, it lost 120lbs off the nose
how will it compete against the LSA powered Z28

However, no one knows how it will considering no one knows the specifications of the Z/28, or even if the Z/28 is going to be put into production.
