Hey guys, today while i was driving the dreaded code came on, i know this topic is repeated a lot of times, but i want some opinions:
1- How hard is it to reach the timing chain? Can i depend on my mechanic for such a job? He changed my fuel injectors and high pressure pump and i think his work is clean.
2- I live in Lebanon and i don’t have any kits over here and i can’t afford fixing it at the company.(they take a shit load more than any dealer overseas).
3- How far can i drive the car ? Its the first time the code showed and there is no sounds coming from the engine nor is their misfires, just that when the code came on the car became sluggish.
4- Is their any DIY video for replacing the timing chain and if anyone can link me to a kit i can order overseas i would be grateful..
Thank you guys for any input.
