I bought a new orifice from the dealer. it's called an orifice or a PCV valve barb. The new 2014 Camaros orifice has larger holes so just but that one.

And yes the clean side is from RX

let me know if you CEL is on

all the issues with the leaking oil are the drilling of the barb orfice. i bet after awhile if you open your intake or tb you will see oil.

it was just suckng too too mch oil thru the elite catch can not to mention the rx oil breather leaking so much. went back to non drilleed barb and elite catch can with zero issues.. it was so bad at one point it was soaking the maf sensor with oil.

no i took the breather off because oil was still leaking from breather and i was getting a squeking noise.. plus on a spark plug change i noticed oil seeping inside the spark plug hole from the valve cover like another member on here had.

just went with elite, used my stock oil cap cover and the vararam breather. so far no oil. tb and intake clean also

Any auto parts store should have one - it's a generic breather, nothing special.

You guys might wanna check out this thread.

I mention my experience starting in post #33. I post a link to a video of my squealing noise in post #187 (I believe). Does the squeal go away if you unseat your oil dipstick or loosen the breather? You're either building too much vacuum (most likely) or too much pressure in the crankcase.

The RX breather's check valve has two issues:
  1. It's a one-way check valve, only allowing air into the engine, when 2 way air flow is required under some conditions
  2. It may not allow the proper amount of make-up air to be drawn into the system to account for the PCV vacuum

Both of these issues put your seals at risk. Take it off, IMO!

Also, it allows unmetered air into the engine, requiring the engine computer to make adjustments it shouldn't have to.

That thread discusses things pretty thoroughly.

It's also mentioned in this thread, starting at post #74.

It's about a 1/2 hr job. Had some oil when using the OEM clean-side set-up. Never experienced the squeal with the stupid Rx breather-cap.
