Sounds like a 1LT. Looks like it has 19" wheels. Brand new with rebates you can get one for a tick over 25K. (that is using Chevy's build site) So unless I'm missing something that doesn't sound like a good deal to me. However, that really doesn't matter. All that matters is you like the deal. Personally, I would never ask the question after you've already bought it. What good can come from it? But again, that's just me. I would just enjoy your ride and put the price behind you.

Just a quick question - you do have fog lights, correct? Since it's at most a 1LT w/ 2LT stock rims, wanted to make sure it's not an LS.

Let's go Rangers!

I'm with the others, that's a 1LT, not a 2LT and 25K is not a "great" price. With that said I am not sure of the hummer trade in value so that may offset it a bit.

I would suggest doing a VIN breakdown and RPO code search to find out exactly what you have. The RPO sticker is in the trunk under the mat on the drivers side.

Yeah, I have the 2LT and it has gauges and leather seats, I don't think I've ever seen a fellow 2LT without them.
25k for a 2012 1LT isn't bad, really. Thats about how much they are worth as long as they are in perfect condition. But you certainly didn't get any kind of deal. KBB with your options says its worth $24,893. But congrats on your new camaro, you're gonna love it! |

A 2012 1LT went for about $27325.00. The factory GM high rise spoiler were pretty expensive but can be had cheaper by a vendor or even aftermarket. The backup camera was about a $500.00 option. Also those don't look like factory 20" wheels.

I don't think he has recourse unless it's in writing somewhere - sales sheet, advertisement, etc.
Unless he can get the dealer to admit their mistake... That will happen. |

OK thanks everyone. Yes also no heads up display, so it does indeed look like a 1LT. Yes so not as great a deal as I had thought. But its cool. The trade in I got for the Hummer was worth it in and of itself. I could have probably gotten 16K to 17K tops for that Hummer, so trading it in at 15 was worth it for me.
Yes that dealer and the salesguy were pretty over the top bad, I found out after I got home, that the supposed oil change I got, did not happen, total lie on that I know. But its no biggie. I am happy with the deal in any event. I really wanted black and a low mileage 1LT or 2LT, so getting the 1LT is fine. I really liked the spoiler too, so that's another reason. Now looking back, other than the leather seats, I think I would rather have the 1LT because I would rather have the extra storage space where the 4 gauges go. So its all good. ALthough obviously would NOT recommend that dealer to anyone, since they are obvious liers. And yes it is in top notch condition, not a scratch on it. Thanks again for all the advice and help! |

If in writing he might have a chance. But if all he's relying on is the words of a salesman, he's sunk. He's already said the salesman didn't know what he was talking about and therefore you can't reasonably rely on those words. I would just enjoy the car if I were him/her. I'm not sure how much research the OP did before buying but I'm guessing he should have done a bit more. I wish I'd known about this site before buying. I learned what I learned from Chevy's site and from online reviews. That's not nearly enough info to make an educated purchase. This site would have filled in all the many blanks.

Well it could be worse.
They could have charged you for a 2LT too. Nice car and congratulations! |

I had figured that it was either a 1LT or 2LT due to the wheels, but other than that, i wasn't sure. I had actually done more research on the 2013, which are a little different, so that is why I was a little more clueless with the 2012 version. The 2013 have the rear camera display in a larger video screen in the middle. The 2012s don't have the larger screen I do not think at all, but not 100% sure on that. |
