Proform Valve Covers

Anyone have these? I'm constantly getting oil seeping through the oil cap. I bought a new cap and a few days later same thing.

Same issue with the GPI branded valve covers, which are made by Proform i believe. Proform's QC must be really lacking, because I have huge burrs inside and outside of the hole. The valve covers seem thick enough where they could have just threaded the hole and problem solved. I have replaced my cap twice and it still leaks right down on the headers. I am going to try and weld a spin cap on them, but the location of the filler hole is so close to the corner radius its going to be a pain in the axx.

I run a solid roller and needed taller covers for the adjustable rockers.

Yeah, I think everyone know they could switch to another valve cover and probably will have to. I just think he was wanting to know if it was a common issue with these valve covers.

But, I must admit that it does suck when you buy a new item that should seal and function like a valve cover should, only to find out right away that they don't and you need to fix them yourself or replace.

Not a huge deal because the cost is not much to replace them. Just hope other see this and are not surprised if they run in to this issue.

I use these --->> https://www.texas-speed.com/p-884-um...r-spacers.aspx

No leaks of any kind with stock valve covers.
