Pads/Rotors: Brembo? AC Delco? Confused!

So I need new pads and rotors and I’m confused about a lot of things:
- I have Brembo calipers, did they come stock (bought used)? Is my entire braking system Brembo?
- Chevrolet quoted me below. When I type in part number it says AC Delco, they can’t seem to tell me what brand they are. Very weird.
- When I put in specs for my vehicle with Brembo, I get part numbers for two different types of pads, “PADS NAO” and “PADS.” NAO is the only one in stock for the front.
-The front rotors from Brembo are not in stock, Brembo says they won’t have them for at least 3 mos and I cannot find them in the U.S. online.
- I’m getting a lot of mixed messages about whether or not the parts from Chevy and Brembo are the same. Nobody seems to have a definitive answer, however the part numbers are different and the photos of the AC Delco ones online look yellow and rainbow colored?
- Are the Brembo and A/C Delco parts the same? Which do I need? Which pads from Brembo are correct/better? “Pads?” “Pads NAO?”
- Why does this have to be so difficult?!

Part No.

It's kinda difficult. But the right resources can make things more clear.

To confuse you more, lol...........

The pads a manufactured by Ferodo for Brembo.
Brembo makes the brakes for GM.
AC Delco is GM's aftermarket parts brand.

Assuming your brakes are indeed OE,
Almost all of the entire brake system is Brembo, in this instance, your pads, rotors and calipers are Brembo,
8 (and rarely 7) digit part #s are GM part #s,
AC Delco has their own part #s, but sometimes they are published with the corresponding GM #,
Don't buy from the dealer unless they can offer a competitive cost. Rockauto.com is always your friend. For best price (usually) and for looking up part #s. And google "rockauto.com coupon code".
Amazon is competitive, but watch out for counterfeits.

If you go to Brembo's site, they are going to give you their part #
If you go to AC Delco's site, they are going to give you their part #

A great site like Rockauto can give you enough info so you can cross reference those different #s

AC Delco has various lines beyond the original OE GM parts they sell. For instance "Professional, Silver, Advantage" If you want what came on your Camaro then you go with Original Equipment/GM Genuine.

The pads on your Camaro are semi-metallic. They work great, will dust and sometimes squeal, which is not harming anything except your ear drums. Follow the owners manual for proper bed-in. I think all pads are NOA, which means non-asbestos organic. asbestos has not been in pads for a long time.

Or if you want to enjoy nice clean wheels you can go with aftermarket pads, I just did Powerstop Z26 pads, happy with the stopping power and clean wheels.

They also make rotors in regular or drilled, both can be used with the Z26 pads.

I'm using the stock rotors, maybe your rotors can be resurfaced?
