Look at all the bugs still stuck to the headlights Should've seen the bumper cover!

I had just washed and detailed her before I left home; everybody knows that people prefer working on clean cars, right?

By the time I got to Jersey, it looked like I'd driven through a swarm of locusts. You'd have thought it was late summer from the looks of it.

Please don't think less of me for not cleaning it up before I brought it in... if I could've found an all-night car wash that didn't require a left turn, I'd have cleaned it before I got there Saturday morning

It is ok Paul... We'll have it all cleaned up for you before you leave Jersey and then have to wash it again when you return to IL

TVS is completely removed. Now on to the fun stuff!

There are only two options in life. Fight or flight. Most people run. Almost all people run. But not us. The difference between us and everyone else is that we run towards the gunfire. And that makes all the difference.

I've received several PM's/posts on the TVS kit.

We may have something worked out through ECS on a local (to them) buyer. For the sake of simplicity, I'm going to try that route first. If it falls through, I'll definitely be posting it up in the classifieds!

I'll try to email Matt this morning on the local buyer to see if we can close the deal and will update this thread when we know more.

Thanks!

Paul...

Should have seen me Friday night trying to find my way back to my hotel when I couldn't figure out how to make a New Jersey left turn. Was probably funnier the next day when I pulled into a gas station with my rental and a kid came running out to pump my gas... figured I pulled up to a full service pump so I pulled to the next island... kid kept following me. I was like "what the hell, are all the pumps full service?" Turns out they are

Simple midwestern folk like me aren't used to all those fancy east coast amenities...

Paul...
Funny thing, when I was getting gas out west I was thinking "dam I have to get my hands all dirty and smell like gas"... and I spilled gas down the side of my truck. I should of let a kid do it for me.

Hot damn, you guys don't mess around!!

If I was working on this in my garage I'd still be sliding around on all the spilt coolant and swearing at the front bumper cover... don't laugh, you guys that've done this before know what I'm talking about. I think I still have coolant on the floor of my garage from my last cam swap

Sounds like the TVS is sold, thanks Matt!

Hi Paul, thanks for coming all the way out here to let us work on your car, we appreciate it. Your car is coming along very nicely. Should give us enough time to get a few days of drive time before you head back home.

Your TVS was sold to one of my best friends. Its going to find its way into a 72 GTO Convertable with an LS2 swap

Chris

Very cool, I'm glad it went to a good home!!

I've always wanted to do something similar with a 1970 Chevelle... think that would make an awesome cruiser!
