If you have ever tried any european super car set to sport or race, you will have exactly this type of throttle response.
It can be tricky on the city streets with rough roads.
This is not the type of throttle response you are getting from a PORTED TB on a CAMARO.
Honestly the improvement is very noticeable, especially on the auto cars where you are not always in the right gear when cruising. It makes the response JUST RIGHT.
It is worth the $150-200. Again, power gains questionable, Response is not.

That's the thing with Bo's TB's. Response is better, like the Vmax, but his shaft mod physically increases the size of the TB by decreasing the amount of restrictions.

I'm willing to agree wit u, and u had better be right......

It doesn't have to be a "super car" like a Maserati, Bentley, Ferrari..
Even Audi's venerable BAR and AXQ engines which are nothing really extra ordinary anymore, had waaaay too much throttle response for some once tuned.

To be honest, I was more pointing the accusation to those who are doing this http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=372526 and then the TB, etc...

In any case, I'll try out dis Bo White toy, most likely over winter while Sledge sleeps, and i will report back when the time is ripe.

Camarodude, FWIW Bo's TB was my first mod and I felt the diff on a bone stock 300 mile 1LE. After the longtubes, CAI with race scoop and a tune it was even better . It was the best bang for the buck mod I have done so far . Bo has been at this for years and knows what he is doing . I'm very picky and I can say without reservation Bo's TB is without a doubt total perfection that you can see and feel .

What is the next "best for the buck" thing to do, after this TB and CAI?
What kind of a tune have you done?

Apex race scoop . Long tubes with or without cats. And if you are not installing a cam ,a Data log drive and tune by someone who knows what they are doing . If you cam it a dyno tune followed by a drive and datalog to dial it in 100%. A tune with the longtubes is something you will really notice.

I mailed out Vmax throttle body serial number 5209 this morning.

They must be doing something right.

I for one would like to see a TB side by side dyno of the V Max and Bo done by a non bias party. Maybe not here but a you tube video would be interesting . Might be a real eye opener .

Bo's does look amazing but sadly I am on a short time table and will be going VMAX, glad I saw this thread as I was not planning on adding this to next weeks build.

You can send yours back to him and he will credit you for a core charge ,and you will end up only paying $150.00. Good luck and don't over tighten the TB bolts.
