Thanks for all replies (and concerns).
Yes it has turned out that the nav system in this car does not work outside US and Canada, nor can it be reprogrammed to do so. Only option is to replace it with a navigation unit that I buy in Sweden when I have brought it over there, or replace it with an aftermarket unit. Since I definitely do not want to pay "extra" for a MyLink navigation (which in my eyes really stink for being 2014) I might as well put something that I really want to have for the same amount of money. My plans are therefore to use the Scosche kit together with the Pioneer AVIC-F60DAB that gives me all functions I desire while maintaining the original functionality of steering wheel control, fan control, backup camera etc etc... So now I need to figure out what steps that are necessary to have the Scosche work properly in the Camaro that comes with navigation from the factory. I have asked Scosche, but they are not keen on giving such support since they are not answering, and I just sent a question to Gen5DYI. Hopefully I can get this sorted out.

Subscribed. I'm in the same boat as the op. Looking to switch out the worthless mylink system for the scosche kit and a pioneer hu. Hopefully a solution comes soon. Almost everything about the mylink is terrible

I will order mine when I am back home from work. Scosche will get back to me the day they have any updates, but it did not sound like they had any priority looking in to it. You could ofc always TRY the Scosche kit too, but there are no guarantees it will play nicely with your car from Scosche. And to be honest, the Scosche kit is not bad at all really. As long as you have a nice head unit like the one I'm looking at, it will get all the attention anyway

Have you guys figured out how to get the SCOSCHE kit to work in a nav equipped ZL1? I'm looking to buy a ZL1 and they all seem to have the Mylink navigation unit. My 2011 2LT was totaled and I pulled my Scosche kit along with my Pioneer NEX8000 and would like to install the system in a ZL1.
