Brown Royal is awesome, just order a gallon straight from them. With the dilution ratios it will last a long time.

I spent countless hours on Autogeek.net

So many videos and articles. If you really care about your car and how it looks that website should be mandatory reading.

And please tell me you don't still use a hose to clean your car!

Walmart @ $4.95... Any soft brush gets the job done in seconds.
As long as you clean your wheels weekly, any soft brush will
work without damaging them.

If he wanted to use a paintbrush you can get them for .50 cents, we are talking about lug nut cleaning brushes.

I know that. The brush I suggested gets in all 5 lug nut holes in seconds and no need to do them one at a time.

I dont know about you but it takes me longer to clean and wash my rims, tires and wheel wells than it does to wash the entire car. Biggest problem I have is washing/cleaning the brake Calipers.

If you have stock clear coated rims, clean them, clay them, then put wax on them. Any time you have to use something stronger than regular soap and water to clean them, clay and wax them again.
Normal cleaning will be easier with wax on them. You will see water bead on them after your final rinse which will let you know your wax is still holding up.
After they are dry I like to go over them with a spray wax, just to give a little extra protection. Spray on your microfiber cloth, not directly on the rims, to avoid overspray.

For the calipers just use brake cleaner, it should clean them easily.

I have the black 1LE rims, I wax them when I wax the car but the brake dust makes them look terrible so I always take extra time to wash the rims and the inside of the rims which is called the barrel I think and ive been using some all wheel cleaner on the brake rotors and a small brush, its just all time consuming if you want them too look good...
