Speedometer gauge change to km/h
Hey guys so my car is from the states and the gauge is in mph, I was wondering if anyone knows what's involved in changing the gauge from mph kmh? Right now I have it set so the units are in metric but I would like if the gauge was in km also.. Any knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks guys

the speedo re-calibrates to metric when you switch units. Both my 2010 SS did as well as the ZL1 whenever I go to Canada

Im in the same boat as you - got my car from the US when they first came out in '12. Would like to change out the actual gauge as well.

I drove to Canada and changed it to metric and the speedo changes to KPH when this is done. I found it to be pretty cool.

If you want the speedo to be in km, I believe you have to change the whole cluster. That would mean having to take it to the dealer so they could plug into it and order a new one with the same amount of kilometres programmed into it.

I bought my car from the US & changed the whole cluster to the one with 300 km , it just needs to be recalibrated at the dealer.

sounds like a lot of work.. its not a huge deal then as the hud and cluster reads km. just not use to doing 120 on the highway and the gauge is 3/4 of the way wrapped lol

you can change to metric (KM) as a option on the menu, it changes speed and fuel consumption to ltrs/100K

I had a new cluster put in when I moved back to Europe.
It's been a while but I believe it was around 3-400 bucks for the cluster and any dealer should be able to do that for you... |
