I just bought a set of C5 18 inch rims and Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires. Has anyone used these tires at the track? How did they do?

That's an odd tire choice for a dedicated drag setup. Why didn't you go with the street radial or street radial II? Did the wheels come with those tires?

I paid 350 for the setup. That's a good price for just rims. Will these tires be any better than the BFG Sport Comp2 I currently have?

I am headed to the track this Wednesday and I am wondering if it worth the time to switch out my 20 inch BFG Sport Comp 2 for the C5 18 inch rims and Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires. I don't know if these are going to help much.
