guy trash on Camaro after he blows a USED car

while surfing on youtube today, I found this video of a guy who bought an used 5 gen and after 10 minutes the car was broke... Of course the guy trash on GM and I dont know if this guy is arround here but wtf! how can you blame GM cuality after you clearly bought a modified car... Idk about you people but I would never buy a car someone has messed with UNLESS its from something like Hennesey or a big tunner...

Sad I even gave this a view. What a moron for having bought a heavily modified car without getting it checked out first. There were all kinds of red flags on why he shouldn't have bought it in the first place like when the previous owner wouldn't let him accelerate hard during the test drive. Then revving it way up and dumping the clutch, come on. This isn't a Honda Civic or a 90's Mitsubishi Eclipse, it's a well over 400 horsepower V8 muscle car. There's just so much facepalming going on here.

Finished video, its not as bad as you guys make it out, i would be blaming the drive shaft too, but it was the previous owners fault for wearing it out and making it wobbly, he got a new drive shaft or semi used and it had no play almost and he got his car fixed and was a happy camper, i would feel same and pissed off, but in the end it is his fault for not seeing the issue in first place and making sure previous owner replaced or something, but video was not all that bad..

the problem here is the guy trashing on GM talking bs about GM's drivetrain on the first half of the video.... this is what pissed me off...

Maybe with his brain power he can figure out when he breaks a axle shaft now, or grenades the rear, he should not wheel hop or hammer the car with a way too high launch and invest in the suspension the idiot; he revs it up cold then to show his ignorance after the repair, and yes it appears cammed with headers..... and Cletus apparently has friends, maybe they can teach him some other things like a car as a whole is a package..... and you make the engine stronger whats it gonna do? Thank god I fast forwarded though most his dibble.....some of us are more powerful and baby our drive line and rear not being stupid even with aftermarket parts because we know what we are doing............

I sell driveshaft center bearings for a living. (among other items) The quality of the rubber has degraded severely over the years. A "country of origin" thing. There are aftermarket neoprene versions for some. I'll have to look into one for a Camaro. We'll all face this someday, mods or not. But fortunately, the OE bearing is probably the best one.

It can happen. Let the buyer beware. I think that if he were under the car and gave as much attention to it in the beginning that the story would've been quite different.
