So I was at Pizza Hut and one of my buddies is paying. I see a SIM Camaro drive by.

Me: "Oh look! A Camaro! Let me go tag (Camaro club card) it!".
Cashier: "Whose yellow Camaro is that?" (I had my new halos on and I parked in reverse so people could see)
Friends: "It belongs to this guy." *pointing at me*
Me: "Yeah it's mine."
Cashier: "Did you do something to it?"
Me: "Yeah. I installed halos that change color."
Cashier: "Oh! I thought I was losing my mind! Haha. Well it's a very nice Mustang."

Not wanting to be rude since she was kinda cute, I calmly walked outside. I

so hard I hurt my nose. One of my friends walks out and he's all like

What do you think I should've done in that situation?

I think I had a smile while she was talking to me because my car was getting praised! But as soon as she said Mustang, I'm pretty sure my smile went away and I stared at her for a bit before walking away.

I noticed some people who aren't into cars don't know that a Camaro and Mustang are 2 different cars. That needs to change

I've had 2 people say nice Mustang and I corrected them both times. I don't drive a Mustang and if someone is complimenting my car I want to make sure they are complimenting a Camaro and not a Mustang.

The other day I was sitting outside my local Dunkins and an older guy (about my age) pulls in with a C6 with temp tags. His daughter or young girlfriend admires my car and asks the guy if my cars a Mustang. He replies "yep, one of the newer ones".
No I didnt correct him, I got a kick out of it.

If she was "kinda cute", I'd cut her some slack. Actually having a grasp of just how smart the average person is and then realize that half the people in the world are even dumber, I tend to cut people a lot of slack.

I then would've asked if she was 18.
