Just bought a 44 mile 2015 black Z28 from Jerry's Chevrolet in Weatherford, TX for 53K - car was flawless! Dealership was friendly and easy to deal with.
Jerry's Chevrolet had 3 2015 A/C optioned Z28's for sale: white, black, and silver for 53K each. When I initially arrived at the dealership, a 2015 white Z28 was pulling out of the parking lot - which looked great by the way - and another guy was there to buy the black one, but it already had been sold to me via a deposit; so he diverted and was in the works of buying the silver one. At these prices, I can see why all three sold in less than 48 hours. I also asked the salesman why there were selling all 3 below below market - for 2015 Z28's - and he said the dealership owner just wanted them gone. I guess if one owns a dealership and want cars gone, they'll be gone! Anyway, I'm stoked about the deal I got. By the way, the black and silver Z28's were parked next to 3 new Z06's and my eyes just kept wandering back to the Z28's. The Z28's are some menacing, thick-ass looking cars. On a side note, the silver Z28 looked sharp as hell too. Last edited by z28monster; 04-09-2016 at 09:26 PM. |

Hopefully this will help someone in the buying market... Through a very tragic series of events I could not get to Texas to pickup the white car. Lost a significant friendship in the process. I will say they seem to be a class act in weatherford! What was an upsetting situation turned into a blessing in disguise.
In the end I purchased a perfect local black car and saved almost $1,500 from the weatherford deal AND I get free oil changes for life along w tires for life (after I buy the first set). So it feels like A tragedy turned into a lottery ticket. $51,995 absolute out the door. Maybe someone can use this to negotiate their deal as I may know another dealer willing to sell for the same. Just PM me. Last edited by t_towner; 04-09-2016 at 09:53 PM. Reason: Removed photo of purchase price. |

What is factory mileage rating on the Trofeo's? Of course they will null if the tires are "abused" so I'll just buy a spare set of rims/tires Should the car ever attend the track. |

As for miliage. I have over 8,000 on my trofeos. I feel that I could maybe get another 4,000 street miles. Mind you, all of my miles have been highway and street. No serious aggressive driving. Ill be replacing them before the 9,000 mark, I have 3, yes 3 nails in the rear left tire.

Wow, with such little tread, how are you still driving with three nails, guess they are acting as plugs for the time being...no air leaking, I take it? Are you going with the Trofeos again? If not, what tires are you thinking of putting on as I'm wanting to take the Trofeos off from the get go and put Michelins Cup 2's. Your thoughts? Thx! |

If you aren't going to track, I'd swap out Trofeos with something else (check out tire thread on this forum) and sell the Trofeos. I wish I would've done that. The front Trofeos will throw rocks at the rear fenders and chip the paint.

I may attend some hit speed touring events but nothing serious.
I'm planning to wrap the car in xpel stealth for a flat black look while protecting the paint. Hopefully that will protect the paint. Also looking for another set of oem rims. Can you rotate the tires front to back even though the rims are wider in back? |
