Is it really that much of a difference over a vmax. As far as I know these are your only options for a ported throttle body

Thats not how it works with Bo. You buy one outright, or send yours in to be ported then shipped back.

VMAX does the core exchange.

False...I sent mine in and got mine back ported. I know it was mine because of a wear point from the engine cover.

Bo offers them two different ways:

1) send in your TB and he ports it and charges you for the porting.

2) buy a new TB from Bo which he ports before sending back to you. That is what I had to do cuz I could not be without my vehicle either.

Could also buy one from someone and have it sent to Bo to be ported and then sell your original one once you receive the one from Bo. That's what I'm doing, just have to sell my stock one in June when I get home.

I would definitely like to get a ported throttle body from Bo. Here nothing but good reviews on his work. If someone can pass the message i would highly appreciate it.

My bad. I misread. I thought you said you send yours in and he sends you back another one that he already ported. Whoops!
