Clutch slave cylinder

Anybody know if the '17 1LE (SS) slave cylinder is in the bell housing like it was for the 5th gen 1LE? I tried to trace the fluid lines from the master cylinder on my 6th gen but can't see where they all go!

I'm hoping the 6th gen is an easier setup than the 5th gen slave, because it was a royal pain to bleed it. From looking under the 6th gen, the clutch line/connections are not where they were (at the bell housing) on the 5th gen.

Thanks in advance!

I'm waiting to hear something on this topic as well. I imagine with new owners putting track time on the cars we will find out soon enough. Fingers crossed they improved the design.

It's the same transmission as the 5gen 1LE so I'm sure its the same setup.

If it's exactly the same setup... that begs the question, did they upgrade the slave cylinder release bearing support to a billet type? There are so many opportunities for small design changes to improve the overall function that one would think they made a few. Time will tell, just waiting for someone to crack one open and share.

Hmmm - times 2 on hoping the sleeve was upgraded. The bell housing is not the same since the port to access a slave cylinder on the 5 gen is not there on the 6th gen's housing. While looking up at the trans tunnel, couldn't even see where the clutch line enters the housing on the 6th gen. Anybody with a shop manual give us some insight? Thx
