After installing my CAI intake, I thought I'd better check the MAF after seeing this thread. Mine is a dog. It's marked K9!.......maybe a Pit Bull......
Anyways, I definitely notice the difference in throttle response!

After reading this post I decided to check my sensor and I'm good (k13). But I have a quick question I have a 2013 LS3, m6. Have any of the LS3 owners had the "weak" MAF sensor or is this just a L99 problem? It would seem that most of the vehicles experiencing the problem seem to be automatics, or am I wrong in this theory? By the way thanks for the information, great post!

Thanks. The L99 and LS3 could both potentially have a "weak" MAF sensor.

So if you have "nothing" in the rectangle block originally shown but any designation in the "flat" section- in my case a 2010 2SS with a single "X", then it is inherently a weak sensor?

If there is not a "K" followed by a number, like in the photo above, you have a weak sensor. Anything other than that is weak.

Chase, are the sensors you have stock or an upgrade such as the JET MAF Sensor?
