You can't get a v8 sound but you can get a meaner sound. Where in AZ you at? There is a database on the forum for various other exhaust systems at the top of the v6 bolt-on area it is stickied.

Or just get the MRT 2.0 and save yourself the trouble listening to all those sound bites.

You want loud but sounds good?
Go MRT!

If you want loud all the time get the MRT V1.0.
If you want loud when you hit the gas get the MRT V2.0

I have the 2.0 and it sounds great!

I want loud at idle like a nice steady chugging sound but still sounds nice on takeoff and keeps a steady purr while driving

Shorties if you have emissions, high flow cats and a cat back; you will have a badass noise!

Not sure of your exact taste, but I have Long Tube headers with my magnaflow exhaust and really like it. So if you like the sound you have and want it magnified that might be the way to go. Not sure of your emission laws there though.

I'm in Arizona but I wouldn't know haha, and are headers under the car or under the hood?

That noise is for the headers! Shorties open airflow and a bit of power, Long Tubes open a LOT of airflow and a lot of power; more direct sound from the engine. High flow cats will sound like when you start your car cold all the time. Magnaflow is alright, I'm a fan of MRT though so I'm a bit bias.

Both, start at the engine and run to the cats with LTs; shorties run off the engine and stop shortly there after
