What a POS! The guy wears a bullet proof vest & surrenders which tells me he didn't want to die. He had a sick motive. I wish the cops would have ended it right there on the spot. I understand the reasons they couldn't. Sucks our tax paying dollars are gonna be spent and wasted on a person who is not rehabilatative.
SOB is gonna have appointed attorney who is gonna claim insanity. As far as people who are against weapons, I am sure had a few carrying folks been in that situation, maybe, just maybe an opportunity would have presented itself whereby one could have broken a clean shot at this a-hole (hopefully a head shot). Just this week down here in S. FLA, a couple of thugs walked into an internet cafe to rob people. An old dude carrying broke out his firearm and started firing. Sure he could have hit an innocent person nearby. But those cowards ran. Who knows if the carrying person saved lives. Yeah he could have hit innocent people while fighting back the thugs. But I think IN GENERAL, it is easier on people who get shot by someone who was trying to protect you rather than being shot or killed by a POS thug. In this same week, a dude ran down his girlfriend and children (2 or 3), and girlfriends mother and father. With his SUV. Killed the girlfriends mother. His own family! Wanted to "scare" the girlfriend and her parents for not letting him take the SUV the prior night so he could go out drinking! I relate this to 911. Years ago a maniac on plane acts up, very few would get out of their seats to assist. Post 911, let somebody even say boo or peep, you are gonna have many volunteers on that plane to assist in taking that person(s) down. I understand you cannot carry on a plane. But for everyday life (not boarded on plane) people are getting fed up with these types of haynnis crimes. More & more people are begining to exercise their 2nd amendment rights to protect themselves & the innocent. I dare say allow open carry laws on the books federally and let's see how many brave POS want to take on the innocent. With this statement I understand the consequences. But my examples above prove that people kill people. Whether or not they use a gun. Sorry for my rant but this upsets me as I am sure it does to you all as well. Peace

He'll never see general population... He'll be solitary till death.
If he does it'll be an "accident"

This is why I am gonna run for office... to toughen the laws. In this case, I'd give this guy to the families of the victims and let them have their way with him just short of death for the rest of his natural born life.

gunman is educated
James Eagan Holmes – DOB 12/13/87
The University of California, Riverside can confirm that a person by this name graduated from UCR with a BS in neuroscience in the Spring of 2010. His last known address was in San Diego. http://ucrtoday.ucr.edu/7775 They say he had recently dropped out of Med school in the area. (I didn't know a bachelor degree even EXISTED in neuroscience. maybe he was trying to fix his OWN mental issues.) "A spokeswoman for the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver says Holmes was a student there until last month but didn't know why he withdrew." http://www.mercurynews.com/nation-wo...ly-dropped-out HE was going to practice medicine....and now suddenly carries 4 loaded weapons executes 12 random people. This is so strange. |

Wow, one of the people killed was also at the Toronto shooting a month ago.
If this is true, that is an incredibly bad and unlucky coincidence. So sad that this had to happen. http://deadspin.com/5927673/aspiring...-movie-theater

Death penalty would be far to easy on him. Life in prison. Prison justice every single day.
