Are air tools needed for the install or will hand tools work?

I did 70% distilled, 30% concentrated dexcool (We're in Texas you know!) for the radiator and intercooler. Mix it up as you need it... 3 gallons distilled and 1 gallon concentrated dexcool should be enough...

Yep!
The easy method is to use an anti-freeze tester and set the mix to the 'lowest' temps in your area (historical). If you do that, you'll have freeze protection (ours in DFW was -8 about 100 years ago, but still, set it to around 0 to be safe) -- about 70% to 30%... -Don
