What insurance do you use for HPDe track day

Was wondering what insurance you guys are using? I’m in the NY area and are getting quotes of $342 and up for 1 track day. Seems like a lot

Was using Hagerty and they seemed a bit expensive so started going with Open Track and they were about $100 less.

I have been using ontrackinsurance. Costs about 300 per event, not per day.

Open Track annual policy. If you do several days a year, daily cost is really low.

I'm using Opentrack also. $370 a month with a year long commitment. I'll do 12+ days a season, so the math works out for me.

A word of caution with agreed upon value policies. Don't under insure you car. It's my understanding that if you wreck badly and the car is under insured the insurance company can end up keeping your car.
Example:
60k car value
You insure for 45k, thinking I can cover the difference.
If you do more than 45k damage they write you a check for 45k and they keep your car. Or you keep your blown up car and no 45k check.

I've never had a claim before. If anyone knows more about this or has experience please chime in?

This was explained to me the last time I was at the track. Kinda of eye opening.
