Agree. Leave the black belt with a flowtie and make fingers out of fangs. I believe that would fix the main issue and offer a sufficiently differentiated look. But i doubt any changes will be made to a production model unless some sr exec has second thoughts....

Okay so the pitchforks are out on the refresh..but I think what's going to bring the torches out is if they raise the price beyond the simple inflation adjustment.

I think if the price goes up by more than ...$1,000 at most..you'll find people going bonkers again.

That blue would probably be the only color I'd be interested in. The satin steel gray is way too silver for my liking. I'm pretty shocked at the loss of a real nice gray.

But...here's my take on two updated (photo shopped) versions. I took out that dumb looking DRL extension:

NICE

Do you really already drive a 2019 2SS? Whats your position at GM? No matter my personal preference if i released a product and "most people hated it" id care a whole bunch. Unless i were ignorant and/or arrogant.

NB both are bad biz practices and almost never lead to success.

PS Al O is not giving anyone 40-50Gs to buy a car either so he better be sure his team nailed it.

This but with a flowtie on a belt would be my preferred look. Failing that the original design. The new nose is very flat and shorter, and body color belts would make it look even flatter and shorter. In my layman's opinion.

I was neutral on the refresh the first time I saw it but like the '19 Silverado, I'm loving it more and more with every look. The 6thgen was a safe aggressive evolution of the 5thgen but this refresh is not a safe update and I think this change will be good for us all going forward.

Change is usually met with resistance, anguish and some fear but is normally not the end of the world that pessimistic's love to forecast. Change is constant, change is inevitable, change can be good.

Same here except I just bought a 18 Silverado LOL... I sat back a.couple days and let it all sink in. It needs to evolve and any changes to appearance are almost always met with resistance..
