That's my inclination as well.
What are you planning to do to get the hp up to 1000?
F1-C Procharger... probably just have to bolt that in... maybe a bigger intercooler too. I am ready to just push more air in and make the numbers.

I have a maggie on my car now. I'll get the OD for the back of the maggie and raise the boost in a forged 427 LSX.

It's the tvs2300. I think it should work up to about 800+ rwhp on a 427 LSX with an OD drive. I could go higher with nitrous.

Russ:
Which Mickey Thompson DRs did you put on your car? I am on the fence between MT and Nitto NT05-R.

ET Streets. I think they're stickier than the Nittos.

Get slicks they would be best if your looking for the best 60 foot times possible for the power you guys are all putting down why not????
What is another set of wheels and tires with the money you already have in your rides if your racing I don't see a reason to not run slicks and skinnies????

I got a price on rear 18x11 Forgeline wheels that will match the set I have now. The skinnies will have to wait.

I am trying to do a new engine, tranny, 9" kit, and a cage right now. Waiting on estimates. I don't want to over extend my finances.

Definitely go MT for your DR's... I never could get those Nittos to hook...
