Now I know why they created traction and stability control. For morons like this. Now we just need to figure out a way to prevent this guy from turning it off before he kills himself or someone else.

The second he popped that door open, the first thing he should be doing is checking to see if he killed somebody. Instead, he gets out and decides to turn his focus on the people jeering at him. He waves his hands up, and nods as if to say "yeah that just happened, so what?" Meanwhile, a parent feet away is scrambling to pick their kids up with baby shoes strewn on the grass from how quickly they had to yank them away from imminent death. Seriously, what the f**k.

People like this don't deserve to drive, period.

Instead, what will happen is that cities will start passing laws that prohibit cars and coffee type events without obtaining permits and that process will cause the permit holder to be liable for the safety of those entering and leaving the event.

So the local government gets to fine those who ignore the permit process and make money. They make money off the permit application. They make money off fining permit holders for walking stereotypes like this guy when they inevitably crash their mustang. Then anyone injured gets to sue the permit holder for failing to make leaving the event safe. Court fees, more money to the local government.

That 2nd video says "directed by..." at the end. Somehow, I don't think they understand what that means. I doubt the person recording it with their phone yelled "action" and told the driver to hit the curb. Lol.

Can someone explain how the driver lost control of the car? Was leaving traction control off a factor? (assuming he left it off)
Also he was barefoot when he stepped out of the car...was that a factor?

Sure. He lost traction by giving it too much gas on cold tires, and then after it lost traction, he proceeded to give it more gas instead of letting off...and then a curb appeared.

He sure learned his lesson. Glad no one was hurt, but it was really close to a tragedy.
