I have almost 20k miles on mine along with a track day and 3 autocross days and I just now am about to get a set of MPSS.

I replaced mine at 14,000. They still had a few miles left on them but I wanted to replace them before I really needed them.

My 2015 has 9k on the odometer, and is eating up the inside edge. Rest of the tire looks good. Would not have noticed if the car was not on a lift. Gotta get to an alignment shop asap!

No joke, at 14,000 miles i did my first burnout. after looking at what's left of the tires, I will never do that again. it just melted them. Wasn't even a big one.

Mine were pretty much done at around 11k miles. Mix of spirited backroad driving, highway, and 3 track days (no burnouts etc).
Bought another pair, will probably switch to MPS4's for the 3rd set.

My first set I got about 6,000 miles but since i've been doing lots more track days and get 2,000 sometimes 3,000 miles on mine. After 4 track days, they are pretty much gone. I'm shocked people are getting 15-20k miles out of theirs! Check the wear bars on the tires. If you're on the wear bars then it's time for new tires, by far the easiest way to tell. Don't listen to the dealer until then.

If you drive hard and log a bit or track time 4,500 is about it. As bad as it sounds, compare the fun factor of 4,500 thrilling miles to 60,000 boring high mileage tire miles.
Makes 4,500 miles feel a lot better, doesn't it? |
