I had never been to The Badlands or The Black Hills. Gary, my friend and world traveler, had not been either. We are veterans of half a dozen or more road trips dating back to before we had wives, children or other things that seem to get in the way of enjoying life.

It was memorable in that we ticked off so much of the heartland of our great country. It was staggering that this part of the country seems to go unnoticed by the majority of us. ~4,150 miles and great time.

I bought the SS to make road trips. I have no illusions about keeping it more than the 3 year lease agreement. I'll manage my miles by short commuting drives or using other vehicles in my fleet.
