I'm with ya! GM has made some huge mistakes recently and this kermit the frog green is another one.

Getting rid of ABM was way lame! Now I'm stuck with IBM, which is so dark its almost black. That's not what I wanted at all. I wish they'd give us another blue option!

It's a nice color. I don't think it would be my choice even if it was on the SS. I don't see the logic at GM to limit this special color to only one trim level. If GM's goal is to sell as many cars as possible then why put limits on colors.

In their short-sightedness, GM dropped ABM (just when production Camaro's are hitting the streets, and people are raving about the color) and replaced it with this gimmicky color. Since Camaro shares same paint line as Impala, and only a limited # of paint options are available due to costs, ABM was sacrificed for this. What a shame.....
For the millionth time.

Synergy green is in no way a replacement for ABM. You can't replace a blue with a green simple as that. A blue went away because it was doing extremely low in sales and a new limited edition color came in.

I think they should try a color like my 67, which is close to the Mystic Teal from the 90's and on the new Chevy SUVs.

So what some of you are saying is you really like the color but you want it on an SS.....................................just think of the number of people that are on the fence between SS and LT. This package may move more V6s...................which in the end is good for Camaro......................which is good for SSs.........................

Any word as to whether or not GM will have it on show at the Philly Auto Show in a few weeks?

I think this is Camaro's (VP) ie: Honda's "VALUE PACKAGE" which companies come out with after a model run to spike interest- A model with limited options at a suposedly value price. I didn't do the numbers but this may be a good value for the standard options you get. Note that G.M. does mention the "affordable price" a couple of times. As far as the green, it's just to make it new/distinctive. Besides as you know, they don't need to push the SS sales

They are trying to push people to buy the V6. dont forget the more V6's they can sell makes the SS V8 safe...
