Not sure if this is posted elsewhere, but here is an update from Tom Henry:
Update on Scott . He required surgery which occurred today. The doctor said "it couldn't have gone better". He is going to need therapy and again it may take a few weeks to know but signs are as good as can be. I think he needs camarotherapy so post your get well wishes on his timeline. If he does not respond quick enough i will take him on a ride in a ZL 1 and remove some mailboxes. This post will be approved by Scott. |

Scott Settlemire update posted on facebook from Kathy Ross Settlemire 8 hours ago.
UPDATE ON Scott Settlemire He had surgery yesterday to remove a blood clot from his brain. Drs told us he had a bleeding stroke (hemorrhagic stroke) which clotted. It happened in the speech center of the brain, so he will need therapy. They'll be watching him closely for the next day or two to make sure everything is healing and the swelling goes down. After that he will need to go to a rehab center for a while. Dr is pleased with the way the surgery went. Now let's all hope for the best!! Please do not try to contact the family....waaaay too many people know and love Scott! lol ....and we do appreciate it!...just a little overwhelming. ߘ Our prayers are being heard!! Yay! Thank you all!!!
