foglight LED light questions
Well, I've been striking out on LED lightbulbs for the fogs. I put 3 different sets in so far and look great when first put in but soon start flickering and burning out. What's a good brand that doesn't cost a crap load? If I can't get anything to last, I will just put the factory bulbs in. I don't want to do any sort of conversions either

I have the same exact issue. This last set actually last me like 3-4 months, which is the longest so far.
I am running with both sides unplugged for now.

well this sucks! There has to be someone out there that's found a good set. Mine too probably lasted 3-4 months too because I installed them last fall then the car was in storage until last week.

Unfortunately, I have never had any luck with the cheaper ones on any of my vehicles. I had similar experiences like you (with only lasting months at most) or they were not bright enough (couldn't even use them as a fog light, they were more for show).
I know you are looking for a cheaper set, but my advise would be to save up for one of the more expensive pairs if you are dead set on having LEDs in your fog lights. I have a set of the XML2 style LED fog lights that I got from Diode Dynamics. I have had them for over a year and a half now and could not be happier. They are bright enough where I have accidentally driven with just my fog lights on instead of my headlights.

I installed Putco brand Pure optic 360 LED fog lamp bulbs approx. 3 years ago and have not had any problems with them. My car uses H-11 size. I either got them from autoanything or amazon. I believe at the time I paid around $35.00 for the pair. I just googled them and they are now going for anywhere from 75.00 to 90.00. As BostiPB stated if you want them save up for a good pair that works and lasts. As, you probably know quality LED's out lasts regular bulbs, in which over all you will either break even or save money with LED's.

I bought a $15 set off eBay and they have been great. Super bright. They have been in for the past 4 months.

I bought some from iJDMTOY on Amazon in December of 2013. Still working great. Come to think of it, I still have the cheap Chinese LED bulbs that light up the rear license plate. I removed them from my previous car when I bought the Camaro. I think I bought those in 2009.

Got some LED fogs from diode dynamics
The reason I went for them was because of the 3 year warranty, very happy with the look

Hi there, are you installing the bulbs passenger side first?Try wearing nitrile gloves and installing a fresh set of bulbs starting on the right side of the car then the left otherwise it won't work.
