Sounds like a amateur racing team based in the Austin area. HD Motorsports I think I read... They mentioned that it'll be spending time at COTA.

Finally got my Camaro 5 account to work.. sorry for the late post. Mike is a good friend of mine and I was sitting across a table from him at HD when he just upped the bid $500 and got the car. We could scarcely believe it. I'll post a few pics of it in its new home at HD Motorsports outside of Austin. Looks like enough spares to build 3 cars. He plans to run it at various tracks in and around texas once they get the seat setup for him.

Links work but it appears to be signing people up for amazon photos, or trying to anyways lol (at least it did me). I'm surprised how low the auction ended at, thats a hell of a steal! Looks awesome!

I stand by my quote! Really... DEAL OF THE CENTURY! I will go to the grave regretting this one! haha But really, the one I bought is more practical for me. That, and I would have had to build another 60X100 shop just to put the spares in! Hope the new owner gets to drive the hell out of it.... and maybe, just maybe, if I'm back in TX for something.... he will let me take it for a spin!

Yea.. that's part of my photo lib with Amazon Prime.. it's silly they don't offer a way (that I've found) to share links in a standard way like others.
It's going to take a bit to run the car as it has a custom ECM etc. I'll post some videos etc when they have it running at the track etc.

If you'd like to see it in person, HD is hosting a car show on Oct 24th. It's running and setup now for the new owner for a shakedown at COTA this weekend.
