If I'm correct, I think you can only buy a whole set from gm. They don't just sell the installation kit. Maybe look into making your own kit. Someone on the forum would be able to guide you for specifications.

Yeah I believe what's going on here is GM trying to protect you from building a Z28 clone. Apparently they don't want people to buy Z28 parts unless they think you own one.

None of the Z28 parts are restricted anymore i believe. I ordered just the splitter and attach kit ( only used like 5 bolts from it). You can get by with out the kit. Buy 4 nutplates the size of the ones in there for the ends of the splitter. 4 for the bumper brace part and bolt/nuts for the rest. There are no special bolts in the kit and the directions are a joke.

Or talk to Maureen at Rogers

The splitter was never restricted. Always could order it separate or through the aero kit. Good luck!

Z28 parts are not restricted by GM any longer. I confirmed this when I ordered a few supposedly 'restricted' parts a couple months ago.

If GMPartsDirect still requires the VIN, there are plenty of other GM parts outlets online that have the same or better prices without the shipping RAPE that GMPD gives you.

This is another great option, Maureen is like a legend in the GM world of online parts ordering.

Go to Auto trader.com and search for Z28s for sale. Use one of theirs.
I did that when I ordered my Z28 grill from GM Parts Direct.
