Only point I care to express is that one doesn't have to lose sleep over driving in the stuff or keep their car garaged if they don't want to.

True, but after seeing what it did to all my aftermarket suspension pieces on my TA I'll just err on the side of caution and keep the Camaro out of it. It was nothing irreversible, just a day of cleaning and re-greasing everything. I don't feel like doing that on two cars.
