Universal Studios meet for "Transformers: The Ride" opening - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

[UPDATE 4/6]: Ride opens to public on May 18th but we may have the meet on another day.

The date of the meet is still to be determined

So it looks like the Transformers ride at Universal Studios will open in May. I thought it would be cool if we could get a bunch of Camaros to go on the opening day. Depending how many cars we can get to go, maybe we can arrange to get "special" parking. I know theme parks like to get local news stations to do live news reports in order to advertise the opening of rides to the public so maybe we can contact Universal Studios and see what day the local news reporters will be there so we can get on TV

Just throwing the idea out there

I know May is still several months away but it looks like advertising for the ride is going to start during the Super Bowl.

It's a good drive. Come on out.

It would be cool if we can get hooked up by Universal and maybe get "group" pricing or maybe special parking.
