Z/28 brakes
What options are there for switching out the CCB brakes for a steel setup for track use. I know steel may not be quite as good on the track, but it's something that I can deal with. I want to try to preserve the CCB's due to the high cost and limited availability of replacement parts.
Does anybody have the updated part number for the front brake pads? Is GM# 22990625 correct? Has anyone been able to find the rear CC rotors? It looks like the are becoming hard to find. Are there any alternate sources besides GM. Brembo perhaps? Thanks Last edited by Z ya later; 11-19-2020 at 11:29 AM. |

You can reuse your old harness if you didn’t wear through the circuit wire. Last edited by AustexaSS; 11-19-2020 at 12:35 PM. |

I tried to order the rear CC rotors right after you posted the link, and I just received the notification that they are out of stock there as well.
Thanks for the links on the steel rotors, it is much appreciated! |

Regarding the rotors on a different point I think I also read on the forum you can buy some brake pads that sorta restore the rotor too.

Did you by chance get the CC rear rotors on eBay? If so, good buy.
