Z/28 brakes

What options are there for switching out the CCB brakes for a steel setup for track use. I know steel may not be quite as good on the track, but it's something that I can deal with. I want to try to preserve the CCB's due to the high cost and limited availability of replacement parts.

Does anybody have the updated part number for the front brake pads? Is GM# 22990625 correct?

Has anyone been able to find the rear CC rotors? It looks like the are becoming hard to find. Are there any alternate sources besides GM. Brembo perhaps?

Thanks

Rear CC rotors here:

Looks like the front pad number has changed to 23284028

Depending on where you order parts from you could get the correct pad (same as corvette) but the wrong wiring harness. You can reuse your old harness if you didn’t wear through the circuit wire.

I tried to order the rear CC rotors right after you posted the link, and I just received the notification that they are out of stock there as well.

Thanks for the links on the steel rotors, it is much appreciated!

Regarding the rotors on a different point I think I also read on the forum you can buy some brake pads that sorta restore the rotor too.

Did you by chance get the CC rear rotors on eBay? If so, good buy.

No, when I got there they were not available. It looks like all the vendors are sold out for now. I tried gmpartsdirect, and 3 different sellers on ebay.

If anyone has a rear set of rotors they would to sell pm me please.

Thanks for all the help, If anyone has any other suggestions, post em up...
