OP, but the big thing with this mod is it is supposed to prevent the clutch pedal from sticking after heavy use. Did you have this problem? And more importantly, did the mod solve it?

I have not. However I bought the car used with about 18,000 miles on it. I looked the car over before I bought it and seen no signs of abuse. The tires still looked like factory and they are still on the car now.

It that was wright, then why after 75,000 does my brake fluid not look like that any more in the brake reservoir, and why do auto cars brake fluid not look like that? yes its heat too but that heat is in the Clutch not the brake's,

Also, since I seperated my brake and clutch only the clutch fluid is getting dirty, not the brake.
Seems plausible.

I'm the type of person that uses logical, critical thinking. If it doesn't make sense from my personal standpoint, then I need to see a logical explanation of the point in question. The article from the link above actually does make sense, so I'm okay with that explanation.

The internet (and this site) are wrought with misinformation, so I rely on my extensive automotive background and credentials to question "why". Looks like the author from the article in the link did a lot of research and provided a logical explanation. I'll need to read into it further. I'd love to see a fluid contamination analysis posted up.

The link I provided also has a link to a lab sample that shows clutch disc material in the fluid.

http://www.rangeracceleration.com/ho...id_Lab_Rpt.pdf

Also, I'll point out that prior to seperating mine several times the clutch pedal stuck. After the fluid swap and adding the remote resovoir it stopped.

I will be doing a complete clutch upgrade, featuring the JDP relocation kit, Ideal G Master cylinder and a newly developed twin disc clutch setup for the V6 models. Stay tuned for the feature in either the fall Camaro Now or GM High Tech magazine soon...

Question My 2020 Camaro vs my 1987 Z24.

I agree. I am on my 2nd clutch in 9000 miles on my 2020 3.6 6 speed, and because I enjoy my "sports" car AND I have driven stick for over 30 years....with my 1st manual car being a 1987 Z24 Cavalier that I got 38k out of my clutch before it wore out.. and it had a cracked case that didn't allow for a perfect alignment. My BFF was a gifted mechanic and welded the case, but that did not fix the alignment. I put 120,000 miles on a Z24 Cavalier with no trans cooler, oil cooler, cooler cooler (It's just a big cooler with a smaller cooler inside, both full of ice and possibly beverages with a long straw and that bendy thing on the end.
So is my 2020 Camaro just a POS.....I think so.

I have seen dark fluid on everything i have including atv, cycle, 2 cars an a truck. In my experience time, heat and moisture are the big factors. If clutch contamination is getting in there would be a leak.
