I was thinking of that actually... SO all ISU alumni that plan on attending this event, let me know, so I could give them a list of all planning on attending. It seemed that was a big concern of theirs in the brief conversation we had.

Also add your name if you are a current student or have someone currently attending, and specify which please. If you are not comfortable putting you full name on here, PM me, and I will add it to the list I have written down...

1. Dan ----? (Black5thgen) - Alumni
2. Dave Olson (Dave_O) - Current Student

**UPDATE**
The alumni office emailed me back today and informed me that I should speak with the Parking and Transportation Office, who I initially contacted!

However, she did give me a specific person who should be able to help. If he cannot help, I am giving up on having it at the school and going to go with another location. I HATE getting the run-around and if that's what they want to do, then by all means, they can do it, but I am done with them if that's what they want to do.

Well, depending on what this guy says, I may just take you up on that! But at this point, I am actually getting ready to just give up on ISU and look into somewhere else....

The interstate center is by the other Wal-Mart if that makes any sense. It's off of the exit between main and south veterans. I don't know the names of the streets to get there but you have to head toward downtown bloomington then make a right. There's a Farm & Fleet around there too.

OHHHH, I know where that is.... Ummm... They are doing a bunch of construction over there, so I'm not sure if what you are talking about is still there... But that Wal-Mart is the closer Wal-Mart to my apt.... I will have to go check that out... considering I need to get some groceries anyways! lol

They sold the Interstate Center this year to some farm equipment sales company I believe. I know they sold the building but the grass area where the county fair is still my be city owned. Also, you can try the old airport. I'm not sure how big that parking lot is but should be big.

Yea, I know. First week back, trying to get back into the swing of things. I plan on stopping by Famous Dave's tomorrow and talking to them, and seeing about who I need to contact for the lot by the Burger King/Ruby Tuesday lot. Will update after I speak with them.

Oh yea, and the guy I e-mailed at Parking and Transportation just before break, never e-mailed me back. So I am no longer trying to contact the school. Unless of course someone knows somebody that can help push this through.

**UPDATE**

Alright guys, I went to Famous Dave's this afternoon (just got back) and spoke with the John, one of the Managers. He said that the main guy (Owner I believe), Steve, probably would have no problem with it considering we would probably end up going in for something to eat and/or drink. He even showed me the section of the parking lot for us to 'set up'. He also suggested the May 1st as the best Saturday to use out of the 3 that we were shooting for, which was the same day I was leaning towards. Once I contact Steve I will update again. I need to find somewhere that I get decent cell reception or set up an appointment to speak with him to not worry about cell reception down here.

So tentatively this meet is set for May 1st at Noon at the Famous Dave's on Veterans Parkway in Bloomington, IL.

Dave_O

edit: As soon as this is confirmed I will post threads on Chicago5thGen and ModernCamaro to get the MAX # of people in attendance as we can!
