2014 1le sctx4 no tune?
Hey guys, just got my x4 home and out of the box. Hooked it up, uploaded the stock file... Went to see what tuning options it has but only has a tune for the L99 automatic. I'm sure this is when everyone will chime in with the options of remote tuning which I'm prepared to do... I just figured like my itune before it, the sct would have come with a canned tune for the ls3 or is there some kind of issue at play?

Did you upload the latest firmware from SCT before connecting the devise to your car? You not suppose to take it out of the box and connect to your car. AND your suppose to return the stock tune to your car before uploading the latest firmware. Did you download the SCT program to your computer first? I have the sctx4 model 7416 and it does have a tune for either Manual or Automatic Camaros

Real dumb question so if I bought this sctx4 then I would be able to re tune my car to stock incase of warranty issues???

Yuuuup. GM can tell it was flashed with a tune..so if it's a catastrophic failure your out of luck...as new as your car is...I'd wait...I waited and had a huge warranty repair that was covered...Many choose to void the warranty time it leaves the showroom floor...I'm glad I didnt...its a roll of the dice...

Faulty afm lifters that tapped loudly at startup, which require tearing the top half off the engine to replace. Was in a loaner for 9 days for the repair. I'm lucky in that the mechanic that did the repair was an ace mechanic. Forty thousand miles later she still hasn't leaked a drop of fluid,runs like a top. To look at it you cant tell it ever had major surgery.
