Metra kit and Pioneer Avic X920bt

I have had both put in my car by a well known audio shop in Brunswick the sound is terrible I have no signal at all until 8 on the screen any ideas or suggestions of where to take my car to get everything back on track. I need someone who is experienced with the metra kit and pioneer.
