Chips?

I hope I hit the right category for this question. I had not seen any discussion about chips. Would anyone recommend one and if so for a 2013 stock 2SS/RS? Chips work great with the Grand Nationals. I have 5 different that I pack around in the glove compartment. So I wonder about the Camaro. Thanks.

Ok on this car they don’t replace chips etc like on the GN.
You do tunes. You hook up hp tuners, sct or some other device. Then you copy your stock tune and send it to someone with what you have changed or want to accomplish. They modify it and send it back thru email.
Or you can contact a good tuner in your area. And they will dyno and street tune it for you.
They can also tune the transmission this same way.

Tunes on a stock car do not do much in the way of hp and torque.
They do change your driving experience and can make the car quicker.
But it’s not going to be like your GN where you swap a chip turn up the boost and knock 1 1/2 seconds off your quarter mile.
You need forced induction to get those kinds of gains easily.
