the aero advantage c6's have just kills me. low frontal area, and good CD = less power by far.
drag is the square of velocity. for every mile per hour an object passes through the air, the power required is exponential. .28 Cd and small frontal area of a c6 means even cars with greater power will lose at speed. everyone faces the same issue. you guys remember the golden state challenge winner year after year about 10 years ago. it was a 67 camaro. it just takes power.

Thanks - It has met all my expectations as well. I can't wait to see what they do with the '12 SS or a Z28... I won't be getting rid of my car tho

We own a 2006 Z06 LS7 , and a 2010 Camaro LS3
I have to tell you that the Z06 gets to 60mph in 3.2 seconds in "1st gear". absolutely no comparison, every single gear in the Corvette responds instantly and effortlessly to the gas pedal," no down shifting required at highway speeds". I really favor my Camaro more, but the Corvette will be faster. You should see if he will let you drive it, you will see what I mean. Here are our cars Thanks, Roger |

I'm not saying I've raced a Z06. But let's just say from a 20mph roll he wiped the desolated piece of back road highway we were on with my ***!!!

Heres the difference with the comparison of the Z06 vs the Camaro....if that Camaro is an Auto, it would be awefully close.....if you take a "similar" manual Camaro it will have 515 rwhp, now your calculations would make it close.
My guess is that he has an auto. Lets look at the stock auto vs manual.....325 rwhp vs 370 rwhp...and it wins by .1 or so........take that ratio, and your 463 is going to beat many manuals that are 515 rwhp.

The car would win, but like usual it's all about the driver.

i raced a brand new one last season in my z28 still had temp tags on it. id have to find my time slip but i took him in 1st and 2nd gear but once he hooked up i could see him pulling hard in my rear view mirror. i took him out, but if the lights where a cupple hundred feet longer he would have blew by me. i only beat him because i had traction on the line. my 2010 pulls 14.3 and my z28 does mid to upper 12's. i can tell u for certain the z06 would take you. just from memory i think the z06 did 13.1-13.3
