What's strange is the 4 lamp sockets you got in the box ...they don't come with the either the 6701 or 6701b llghts. Maybe they are 6800 lights and those sockets replace the eom sockets? So all you're missing is the master interconnect harness?
Thanks for breaking down what plugs into what, that really simplified everything. I asked the guy I bought these from if he can ask the guy that gave them to him if he has the wiring harness. If not, I'm hoping Technostalgia won't take too long to get back to me.

Well now I'm more confused haha. The plot thickens!

There's a sticker on the inside of the box as well as this instruction sheet. Not sure what any of it means since I haven't taken apart my stock tail lights yet.

But on the outside of the box it definitely says 6701b. idk haha

Alright, so the guy I bought them from had no luck on finding the harness.

On the other hand, Todd at Technostalgia got back to me and quoted me $35 for the harness and $47 for 4 updated resistors per Scott's (Batmanntexas) recommendation.

I will have to get the harness, but I probably won't get the resistors right now. And if the resistors I have are bad, I found the same ones on Amazon that I can replace them with for much less than $47 https://www.amazon.com/4Pcs-Aaron-6o...load+resistors.

Also, I came across this video on youtube:
. Shows how to replace the afterburner led strip if any of the leds go out. Thought it might be helpful to share if anyone runs into any problems with their afterburners . Here's the replacement strip as well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks for everyone's help figuring out what I needed/was missing.

Where did you get that plug and play harness for the sequential turn signals?
