Quick question about these Technostalgias

Hey guys, I just picked up these Technostalgia tail lights today. Found them locally for a great deal and couldn't pass em up.

My question is: Am I missing anything needed for install? This is everything I got. Thanks in advance for the help!

Looks like your missing the master harness. It's what runs from the battery and has connectors to all the light sockets.

What version/series are they? Earlier ones had a wire ran to the battery. I have 6800 series and no battery wire.

I think the battery wire is for display lights or something like show off l8ghts.

Could you post a pdf or a pic of the 6800 install instructions.

They are the 6701b version.

I guess I'll try contacting Technostalgia and ask them about the wiring harness. Thanks guys!

Thanks for posting that. Looks like I do need it. I already sent an email to Technostalgia asking about it, hoping they will get back to me. I'll ask the guy I got them from if the guy that gave them to him might have the harness. Fingers crossed. Thanks again!

Good luck on the hunt. Did you see the demo on youtube? They look to flashy imho. The lights shouldn't be flashier than the car. I got regular sequentials. They were simple to add, disconnect lights, plug in & go.

Ask Technostalgia for the updated load resistors. The ones pictured are not sealed, and will fail within a few months.

Thanks haha. Hoping it'll be possible to get the needed equipment separately.

I've seen videos and pics of them and I really like them. I agree that they are flashy, but the that's what makes them cool.

Yeah, the ones I got have the 3 wire connectors, but the warning stickers on the back are different.

They look like either the 6701 or 6701b You'll need the master interconnect harness to get them to work. The inter connect harness would attach to the black wired connector on the light. The resistors would connect to the orange wired connector, and the connector coming from the light opening would connect to the lamp socket.

What's strange is the 4 lamp sockets you got in the box ...they don't come with the either the 6701 or 6701b llghts. Maybe they are 6800 lights and those sockets replace the eom sockets? So all you're missing is the master interconnect harness?
