Ready to buy a set of wheels for my 2SS/RS

Hi all:
Ready to buy a set of wheels and many choose this popular Z28 wheel. I find sets of 4 in 20 X 10 for around $1,500 and was wondering if it would be ok to run this in the front? I've read that it is ok. I would like to find a staggered set of 20 X 9 and 20 X 10. But if not, would I be ok? I don't need fender rub. Thanks!!

I think it will be a great improvement over my current wheels. ZL1 style...

20x10 is perfectly fine with the correct offset in front. It made mine look exactly flush with the wheel arch and looks amazing. I have no rubbing and am lowered 1.75 inches. I am not on those wheels though, I am running the MRR M017's.

I am running 20x10 front with +23 offset and 20x11 rear with +43 offset. 275/40 in front and 315/35 in the back. We have plenty of room under these wheel arches. Only thing I had to do was tie back my E-brake cables on both sides due to the 315s in back. Those would have rubbed a bit if I hadn't.

I have those exact wheels in that size. No issues at all.
They will look great!

It was already said, but 20x10 is totally doable with the right offset. 1LEs and ZL1s run 20x10 in front.

OK, so if I run all 4 20 X 10 with a back spacing 23mm up front and 35 in the rear I should be fine or even +43 in the rear? I find the +23 and the +35 common in this wheel.

What lug nuts did you use? I don't think they come with lug nuts but they should. Will the ones from my current chrome ZL1 look-a-likes work? Thanks

I’m running 20x9.5 front and 20x11 rear. For tires 275/40 in the front with a 5mm spacer and 315/35 rear. You’ll love the extra meat.

Thanks to 1JEWLDSSRS help, I went to 20x9 in front and 20 x10 in back with 275/40 tires in front and 315/35 in back. Didn't have to make any adjustments or have no rubbing.

To be honest I don't think it will look much different. Both wheels are chrome and pretty similar looking. You already have silver, I would go with black. IMHO.

You will be fine. I have a set of 20x10 +23 for the front and 20x11 +43 rears that I had on my 2011 SS/RS WITH 275/35 front tires and 315/35 rears and ran them for about 8 months before I bought the Feradda's FR3's I have now. Here is a pic, and they are for sale. They are polished AND cleared MRR M228's. Here is a pic.. And they are for sale if you want them. PM me... Oh, and they are only about a year old..
