First Mods for ZL1???

I owns 2013 ZL1 and finally decided to start modding it. I have ordered a rotofab cold air intake and a catch can. What other mods do you recommend for the first few mods. I have been looking at Kooks headers and Corsa exhaust. But what else should I do and can you include links to the items?

Welcome. There are a lot of options so it depends on your goal, but a ported TB really helps these cars with throttle response. I would skip the cat back. Imo the stock exhaust with headers sounds good and is plenty loud. You can add an exhaust controller to open and close the exhaust valves with a remote.

welcome, my advice is find a good tuner. You have some room to increase supercharger RPM by 10% without having to increase injectors or fuel.

as stated above, headers are good idea (no cats if you can), factory exhaust is good. have you done the fuse pull?

Can you send me a link to what you recommend as I see numerous options out there?

What mods (please attach link if possible) would you recommend for the 10%? Also, I live in Texas, but live in a county that does emissions testing on the vehicles so unsure if it would pass or not. And I do not know what you mean by fuse pull so I bet I haven't.

Search for Vmax ported throttle body. They're cnc'd and work great. I bought a brand new LS3 TB on Amazon and shipped it to them. They had it done in a few days. I have a ADM exhaust controller, but I don't think they make them anymore. There are other options.

I searched their website and it said they were sold out of LS3 TBs. would this work from amazon or do you recommend a different one? I lived in Flower Mound for 17 years. If you want to know what you should do with your Z, contact Anything Automotive in Denton. John and Jason are top shelf. Tell them the guy who moved to Vegas sent you. I couldn't be happier with the work they did on my car. Results in my signature.

Glad to help. There are several really good shops in the DFW area. My first pick would be Anything Automotive. There is also ADM and HPP in Lewisville. 21st Century in Addison. And a couple shops on the east side.

The best sign of a great shop is how long you have to wait to get your car in. The longer the wait, the better the shop. Obviously, there are exceptions to every rule.

I am curious to what you had done to your car?
