Just installed the winter wheels/tires, 19x8.5, 15mm offset. Blizzak 255s mounted up. Still have to reprogram TPMS and install rock-guards.

Just went to Dyno and received the base line Runs. The main reason was to see what the Mods will be showing in gains over the time.

Dyno was Dynojet

I have not had any issues with mine on the 6thGen, and Justin will get a replacement out to you ASAP. You have to pay return shipping, but well worth it. Just shoot him an email, I’ve not had problems with these new 6th Gens yet knock on wood...

I will let you know how my ZL1s look... and hold up too..

Just the doors? Was considering getting the plastic pieces upholstered but may just grab the two door pieces and call it a day.

For now, yes. Since my vehicle is obviously a 1SS, I don't think the center console knee pads are vital to the aesthetics of the interior (namely, the cloth seating surfaces). However, I will likely purchase them at some point in the future.

For approximately the same cost as the center console knee pads, I would rather purchase the illuminated sill plates, as they represent a greater upgrade IMO (see photograph below). What do you all think?

I am in the same boat. I already did the illuminated door sills, and now I would like the leather knee pads. I think I agree that the door panels seem more important, and I don’t quite understand why the console pads are so much more expensive either.

How there’re fixed? Just clipped as the knee pads?

Thank you for your input. Since the immediate surfaces surrounding the door knee pads are soft-touch materials (i.e., the door panel armrest and insert), the 2SS door knee pads look entirely appropriate on a vehicle equipped with cloth seating surfaces.

I'm still debating the purchase of the center console knee pads. As most vehicles, excluding those in the luxury or exotic segments, generally limit the use of soft-touch materials on the center console to the armrest, I don't find the center console knee pads are imperative to the aesthetics of the interior. Moreover, when you consider what they cost and the fact that they do not feature foam backing like the door knee pads, they really start to appear unnecessary.

Correct. The door knee pads are secured by five clips. A trim tool and 10 minutes is all that you need to install them.

You don't even need the trim tool!
