I just put in my BTR platinum springs with titanium retainers!

I had to get the tool steel because of my spring pressures and type of lobe , but if you don't need to then yes titanium all the way.

Well I've finally got a weekend to do my install

so i thought I'd take some pics along the way. So far so good except the Harmonic balancer puller i got from the auto parts store was the wrong one so i just did as much as i could until i get the right one.

I remember that weekend... good times

Take your time, don't get frustrated (if you do get frustrated.... take a beer break for 20 minutes), use lots of labeled zip lock bags, and take pictures.

There is a pdf file of robertway's DIY that I uploaded (somewhere in that thread). It would be easier than using your laptop.

Yeah it was all going good until I ran into the oil pump but got that out and got it back in. Working on the top end now and I think I might be tired lol these springs are kicking my ass!

Thanks man, I'm trying to finish it tonight or early tomorrow so I have enough time to get it tuned. But I also no I can't hurry or I'll mess something up.

How is coming along? I like SolomonAKOO am kinda out where there are no good tuners and no good shops THAT I KNOW OF that will do a install and a tune. So i am going the route of Ted at JRE... Hope all is going well and i am going to be doing this all myself this winter so i am diggin this thread! All you guys are great!

Did you remove the intake manifold and maybe damage the sensor?
